You may not realize it, but there is a lot of plastic out there and less than 5% makes it to a recycling center annually. There is a floating landfill in the Pacific Ocean known as The Pacific Garbage Patch which is mostly made up of non-biodegradable plastics and is twice the size of Texas! Yes, Texas! Capt. Charles Moore stumbled on to it in 1997 and it expands at an alarming rate annually. You will not find a floating land mass of trash on Google Earth because it does not work that way and is actually worse for us. Visually that might be worse, but the plastic soup is worse because it ends up in the food chain. The documented evidence is overwhelming and plastic outnumbers plankton 6 to 1 in the North Pacific Gyre .

Until plastic is outlawed, we are the solution! Green Up is at the forfront of oxo-biodegradable technology and our products are the best oxo-biodegradable products on the market and the most cost-effective, which is why we are supplying schools, universities, small businesses, large businesses, and municipalities. We will be supplying main street this year! We provide our clients with quantifiable benefits with a little help from the EPA which leads to monetary savings based on GHG reductions and energy savings.

Please recycle our bags and other recyclable bags because companies like Trex make good use out of them. There are more and more companies out there like NuCycle who will help your business, school, or municipalty create recycling programs. Green Up is revolutionizing the plastic industry and we need your help! We hope this helps you understand the magnitude of the problem we all face and offers you some ideas to green up your business.
